My Final Decision - New Laptop this week
Sometime this week
After scouring the market for a laptop, I stumbled onto Open Source computer sales in Divisoria where the salesman convinced me that I was paying for too much with my first choice of laptop - ASUS k42JK. He told me of a cheaper laptop that's got the same performance with the ASUS and after reading Acer Emachines D640 reviews on Tipidpc.com, I am now convinced to buy the model.
Take note there's a big price difference: Emachines D640 costs only 23k php while the ASUS K42jk costs a whopping 34k.
I might be getting a new laptop: Acer Emachines D640.
